Report: Recommendations to Further Improve Amazon Sales

This report will serve to analyze Amazon.com, Inc., an online company dedicated to e-commerce, retail, digital streaming, and cloud computing. Created in 1994 by Jeff Bezos, Amazon has amassed a net worth of 1.7 trillion dollars. Amazon’s “Cost per First Stream” metric was created with the goal of measuring and increasing the number of active Prime memberships. Amazon is a company that requires a continuous increase in its numbers of membership inquiries to show that they are growing, as well as improving. As with any business, the profit margin increases with scale. For Amazon to take advantage of further economies of scale, it needs to grow its user base and acquire customers earlier on to increase the total lifetime value of each customer.
