About Jason K. Yamamoto

Learning at a young age to "translate vision into reality", he developed a system to recycle bottles and cans from his local high school while in elementary, generating profits of $1,200 a year since 1st grade to pay for his extracurricular activities and high school tuition.

Following his graduation from the prestigious Kamehameha Schools in 2016, Jason volunteered as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on the islands of Pohnpei, Parem, and Guam, where he not only proselyted, but taught English at the local schools and helped to build homes with the locals. Following his service, Jason worked as a door-to-door salesman and dispatcher in northern Virginia before returning to Brigham Young University Hawai'i as a full time student and website developer and door-to-door solar salesman for Mālama Solar in 2020.

Since returning to school, Jason's accomplishments include managing a team of 5 in an internship for Mondoro Furniture, based out of Vietnam, becoming a multi-purpose ambassador for the Polynesian Cultural Center, Hawai'i's #1 tourist attraction, and being nominated as the Hawaiian Club President for over 250 students from over 70 countries in the Hawaiian Club at BYU-Hawai'i. Jason is a Marketing major with minors in Information Technology (IT) and Communications. His hobbies include hiking, long boarding, reading, and painting.

"I Don't Deserve It, I Earn It"

"I would repeat the saying above between each door knocked, working 12 hours a day for 5 days a week as a door-to- door salesman. I believe no one deserves anything, yet we are each gifted with talents and resources that allows us to grow and create newfound wealth. At a young age, I learned how to work, not for money but for experience. My recent jobs have allowed me to explore the world of salesmanship and website development. I have taught myself how to create and manage websites, thus opening a new door of possibilities. I believe we can do better and be better, once we change our mindsets to recognize our worth and capabilities. My goal and purpose is to create and experience new opportunities for myself and others. A change for progression can always start with a simple connection. So let's get to work because you and I both know, we don't deserve it, we earn it. Feel free to contact me and let me help you achieve your business and career goals." - Jason K. Yamamoto
